Intersquad II Meet

Our last meets of the season did not feature an opponent (Forestbrooke had their own Intersquad dive meet simultaneously). Here are the results: Intersquad II vs Nobody. We will be adding photos from both meets to Chippewa’s Facebook page soon. Now on to Championships where we have 75 Piranhas competing!

There will not be swim & dive practices for the rest of the summer.

Sunday, July 25, 5:30pm: Pizza Dinner & Pep Rally

Get ready for Championships with a pizza party and pep rally tonight! There will be crafts, banner signing, and plenty of beefle, biffle, bum. Pizza, watermelon, and lemonade will be served. If anyone wants to make cookies or another easy dessert or if you can help serve/organize, that would be awesome!

Team Banquet

Save the Date: Friday, July 30, 6:00-10:30pm! The banquet is for everyone on the team and their families, not just for the kids who competed at Championships or in the dual meets. Celebrate the season with a potluck dinner, paper plate awards, and late-night swimming.

For the potluck, please bring a main dish (last names M–Y), a side dish (last names A–G), or a dessert (last names H–L). Lemonade and plates & flatware will be provided. If you want anything else to drink, please bring it.

So You Think You Can Draw?

We are looking for Chippewa Piranhas artwork to decorate the pool lobby. You don’t have to draw a piranha! This can be any style of artwork in any medium, but should celebrate the team in a way that is meaningful to you. Please give your artwork to the coaches or guards to be displayed. We have filled one board, but we are still looking for more!

Swim Lessons

Starting on Monday, swim lessons will be 11-11:30am only, and will continue until Em has to go back to school. Please text Em at 734.999.8192 if you are interested and let them know which days you would like to attend.
