Chippewa Club juniors compete on USTA Jr. Team Tennis teams, where kids connect together to play singles, doubles, and mixed doubles against other teams of similar age and ability in S.E. Michigan. For the 2016–2017 season, Southeast Michigan is offering two distinct tracks for Junior Team Tennis. For the Winter 2017 season, Chippewa will be competing in the Intermediate Division of the Midwest Track, which offers the following:

  • USTA Jr. Membership ($20/yr.) is Required
  • Mandatory Age Eligibility through August 31, 2017
  • Minimum 4 boy/2 girl Gender Requirement for all matches
  • Divisions Offered: 10U Advanced*, 12U/14U/18U Intermediate & Advanced
  • Intermediate divisions (plus 10 Adv.) play January-March 2017
  • 3 Court / 6 Player Singles and Doubles Match Format (timed)
  • Jr. Ratings (JNTRP) used to determine level of players
  • Advancement to District, Sectional, and National Championships
  • Ranking Points (PPR) awarded for District & Sectional Championship play
